Not far from Seehof Goldegg is the Goldegg Golf Club with its excellent 18-hole golf course. Tee off on the par 72 course, located in the middle of a sunny plateau. Surrounded by a marvellous mountain backdrop on the sun terrace, you feel a little closer to heaven. You don’t have to be a professional to play golf here.

The Goldegg Golf Academy offers suitable lessons for experienced handicap players as well as complete beginners. Special golf weeks for children introduce even the youngest to this beautiful game. Beginners enjoy an easy and relaxed approach to the game.

Whether high up and a little closer to the sky or rather on the ground – in the valley and on the mountains, a variety of hiking trails invite you to explore. And unspoilt landscapes, traditional villages and rustic Alpine pastures await you everywhere. Buchberg, Böndlsee lake, Hochkönig and many other natural beauties await you.

Nothing is more appealing than discovering the Pongau region by bike or mountain bike: The popular Tauern Cycle Path and the Alpe-Adria Cycle Path lead directly through Schwarzach and St. Veit. If you are looking for more challenging tours, you will find them between the Hochkönig and the Hohe Tauern, bringing you a little closer to heaven. Experience the incredible beauty of our nature on various routes and well signposted trails. There, the summit of the Hochkönig with its almond-shaped walls truly seems close enough to touch.

Lake Goldegg is a natural moorland lake, which is why the water temperature is particularly pleasant in summer and ideal for your summer holiday by the lake! The hotel’s own bathing jetty makes it possible! Splish splash!

According to our wishes, the solitary building next to the vegetable garden was designed as a solid timber house by the Munich-based architectural firm Meier-Scupin. It was conceived as a special retreat for our Seehof guests – with saunas, yoga, massage and a relaxation area with a view over Lake Goldegg.

Take a sauna or retreat to the relaxation area, lie down, read, doze or watch nature. On the ground floor is the sauna area with hay sauna and Finnish sauna with a fantastic view towards the Hohe Tauern.
